Our Mission

As reported by the Trussell Trust, the number of emergency food parcels distributed to families continues to rise sharply. This reflects a growing crisis of food insecurity affecting low-income households across the UK. At Tarem Services, we recognise that hunger has no place in our communities. Our Mobile Foodbank provides food support to those who need it most, ensuring access to essential items, promoting dignity, and safeguarding well-being.

How It Works

Each month, our volunteers mobilise Tarem Services Mobile Foodbank in accessible communities where we serve. Collaborating with our clients and other community partners, we distribute non-perishable food essentials, including rice, pasta, and more. Our goal is to ensure no one goes hungry due to financial hardship.

Food Support Impact to Date

Since launching in October 2024, the Mobile Foodbank has delivered 9 distributions, benefitting over 1,580 individuals, including Tarem Services staff. These efforts are powered by volunteers from within Tarem Services, client staff who partner with us, and community organisations we work alongside. All are united by a shared commitment to reduce food insecurity.
