Tarem Services Mobile Foodbank Supports more than 200 Residents in Westminster
On Tuesday 21 April, Tarem Services Mobile Foodbank helped tackle food insecurity in Westminster by supporting more than 200 residents.
Working in partnership with Morgan Sindall Property Services, we visited Brunel Happy Club at Brunel Happy Hub, part of the Westminster City Council community network.
Together, volunteers distributed 100 food bags, each designed to support at least two people, containing essential items including rice, cooking oil, long-life milk and toothpaste.
The event was attended by Councillor Adam Hug, the Leader of Westminster City Council, highlighting the importance of partnership working in supporting residents and strengthening local communities.
Elizabeth from Happy Lizzy Event Planning CIC said:
“We are proud to be making a positive difference and strengthening support within the local community.”
Polly Evans, Social Value Officer at Morgan Sindall Property Services, said:
“This initiative shows what can be achieved when businesses come together and contribute time, skills and resources.”
Tarem Services Mobile Foodbank is part of our wider mission to tackle food insecurity and deliver social value across the communities we serve.
We would like to thank Morgan Sindall Property Services, Westminster City Council, Happy Lizzy Event Planning CIC, volunteers and community partners for helping make this support possible.
Morgan Sindall Property Services has also highlighted the initiative as part of its commitment to delivering social value. Read more about the partnership and community impact here.
